The yellow flowers in this photo are growing on the hill behind my backyard fence. All of us who have allergies are really having a difficult time . . . part of Spring we don't look forward to. They are neat to look at though . . . this is only a small section in our backyard . . . to the left of this photo, they grow along our entire property line.
Beautiful blue sky and green trees. I have to ask, who owns all that land behind you, and do you ever worry about fires? Sorry to hear abt. your allergies though.

ReplyDeleteYes Barbara, I do worry about fires . . . it's been an on going battle. We are getting ready to call the SDFD because this land belongs to the homes above us (at the top of the hill)and the owners, which consist of three different homes, refuse to maintain this area behind their homes. Come fire season, we would be in a heap of trouble.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is, Karen! We are all feeling the effects of it. We have actually cleared the area several times even though it is not our area to maintain but between the fire hazard and the allergy situation, we have had to do it ourselves.
